Deusimator
A downloadable game for Windows
Imagined as Jalopy married to Mech Warrior, Megas XLR made into a video game. On a lonely road through nowhere you pilot an automotive mecha. With the emulated controls of a giant robot you are pitted against a kaiju-sized sasquatch. A monster that came from the edge of the sun and slipped through a crack in the ozone layer as they migrated to earth. A bite sized experience that whisks together simulation with arcade and driving with boxing.
Built in Unreal Engine 4. Designed to work with either gamepad or keyboard controls.
"Deusimator" is my thesis project out of school, completed over the course of a year. Developed in collaboration with a small team of students. Awarded "Most Outstanding Senior Project," by the University of Saint Francis 2019 USF 43rd Annual Student Art Exhibition.
